Summary: 5 Stars
I think some of the absolute best and funniest stories and animation was done for these era cartoons. This compilation is very good with both classic black and white as well as color cartoons. I have always liked Popeye and this disappearing era of his adventures shouldn't be missed. I'd highly recommend getting this DVD if you like the detail of the animation, looks 3-D decades before 3-D, and the real humor of these cartoons. Really listen to some of things and comments Popeye says as he's mumbling along, hilarious!
