Movie Review: Best family movie of all times
Summary: 5 Stars
I know many good family movies (Anne of Green Gables, The Waltons, Tinke, Heidi, The Secret Garden, Alan & Naomi, Whale Rider, Little House, etc.) But THIS "Pollyanna" either comes very close to the best of any of those or maybe even beats them. If a movie is so good that it can give you tears, then it is a good movie in my opinion. This "Pollyanna" was able to do this to me. And I am male and in my fifties. Those tears from this movie are not tears of sorrow or pain. No, they were tears of joy.Movie Review: PollyAnna

This English Adaption is a brilliant contrast to Pollyanna starring Hayley Mills. It has a good British cast with Amanda Burton as Aunt Polly who is obsessed with health, Georgina Terry plays Pollyanna who finds something good in everyone. Georgina plays her well. At the end it is good that we see Pollyanna after her treatment to her back which unfortunately we do not see WIth POllyanna starring Hayley Mills.Each film has its own uniqueness and contrast between GReat Britain and America .

This is a wonderful movie! Pollyanna inspires the people of her town, and she inspired me. There is always something to be glad about, no matter what comes our way. Pollyanna beautifully conveys this message. It reminded me somewhat of the Eloise movies, with Pollyanna getting involved in the affairs of others. She helps to soften many a hardened heart, and also is a bit of a matchmaker! Everything works out in the end. I absolutely loved this movie! Absolutly charming!! We caught this on PBS, and I am ever so happy that I did!!! More TV and movies should be like this!! Clean, wholesome, with a very good message, and oh my gosh, ENTERTAINING AT THE SAME TIME!!! Who would have thought it possible! Varies from the Disney version, not sure who follows the book more, haven't read it yet. Both versions are adorable, heartwarming and will bring a few tears to your eyes. I highly recommend picking up both copies today!!Movie Review: Actually Better than the Original

I caught this movie on TV. I was interested in watching the remake after enjoying the Walt Disney version.
I must say that I found this version a lot more enjoyable to watch. I enjoyed this movie so much that I went on Amazon to buy a copy as it is not available in Australia.
If you are looking for a movie that the whole family can watch look no further.
I am always pleased when I come across a well made production which is also clean and enjoyable.
