Movie Reviews of Pocketful of MiraclesMovie Review: Missing Scene Summary: 5 Stars
I just love this movie, the comedy, the acting-especially that of Bette Davis.I bought the DVD version of only to discover that an important scene is missing from it-the part when the Governor, Mayor, Police Commisioner ,and the Governor's party decided to rescue Apple Annie and go to her party. That's a nice heart-warming scene and they should not have taken it out.

Movie Review: classic Summary: 5 Stars
My 19 year old son has learned to appreciate the classics by watching them with me over the years. This movie is a little gem we saw together several years ago and he loved it. It's an enchanting old classic and he was so happy to receive it for Christmas. I bought several last minute items for gifts from Amazon just a week before Christmas and they arrived on time.
Movie Review: POCKETFUL OF MIRACLES Summary: 5 Stars
I had seen this movies many moons ago. I bought ROBIN AND THE SEVEN HOODS along with this one. It was lighthearted, fun, sweet, and poignant. The best part is that I didn't have to figure out what was going on or was going to happen or why. It was one of those brainless (in a good way), enjoyable, good 'ol films. Why aren't there more these days?
Movie Review: One of my favorites Summary: 5 Stars
It's a heart-warming Cinderella story. And an older Bette Davis is Cinderella. Lots of great dialogue. Peter Faulk was nominated for the Academy Award for best supporting actor and Glenn Ford won the Golden Globe for best actor. Thomas Mitchell is great as the Judge, you'll recognize him from his role as Uncle Billy in It's a Wonderful Life.
Movie Review: Pocket Full Of Miracles Summary: 5 Stars
DVD arrived very timely. This is one of my most favorite movies. Wonderfully funny movie staring Glenn Ford, Bette Davis, Hope Lange and Peter Faulk. Bette Davis is transformed into a beautiful lady from a very frumpy street person. Truly one of the best movies made!
