Movie Review: A gem of a film

This sweet, polished gem of a film follows the lives and volatile romances of four couples, as they find, develop and rekindle love in modern Los Angeles. The performances are wonderful, especially those of Sean Connery, Angelina Jolie, Jay Mohr, and Dennis Quaid. An excellent cast, a wonderful story (with a surprising ending!), and Willard Carroll's screenplay make Playing by Heart a film that must not be missed.Movie Review: WOWZERS!

We were just perusing, looking for something good...then we started reading the cast list for "Playing By Heart." Jilian Anderson, John Stewart, Sean Connery, Ryan Phillipe, Angelina Jollie, Madeline Stowe, and Dennis Quaid, just to name a few of our favorites! Then we watched it and things just got better. Its subtle and colorful, and you're never waiting for next scene except in anticipation!!Movie Review: Pleasant surprise

Witty and very entertaining! I didn't even know this movie existed and it certainly looked like a 'chic flick'. Well, this will certainly be a hit with the ladies but I found the movie to be very good. It could be due to the fact that I watched this right after 'TimeCop 2', so the comparison could be playing in its favor.Anyways, I highly recommended it.

It's a great, funny movie that guys and girls alike will love. With a mind-blowing cast, (I personally thought Gillian Anderson and Angelina Jolie did the best) it leaves you wondering how the lives of these people will come together! The ending is spectacular, and doesn't leave you sobbing like most Romantic movies out recently. I highly recommend this!
