Movie Reviews of Piglet's Big MovieMovie Review: A honey of a movie Summary: 5 Stars
Anyone who does not like Pooh and the gang is just a down right Scrooge. The story focuses on Piglet mostly and it is adorable. One of the other reviewers referred to the end scene as a "disappointment"-I would not call it a disappointment, but it was sad to think of the possibility of Pooh and Piglets fate as such. There is a time in everyone's life where they have to learn how life goes round-most likely that reviewers little one did not even understand what was happening in the end scene-at that age(2ish) it is all about the "HOO-HAH" and the silly things that the characters do in the movie that keep them glued to the tube-not about the shock of a possibility of Pooh and Piglet dieing-kids at that age just don't understand that concept yet.
Movie Review: Piglet and Carly's Big Movie Summary: 5 Stars
Put Walt Disney and Carly Simon together and you have a real winner of a movie. This movie was precious. The whole point of the movie was to show that Piglet and perhaps people, that they don't know how special they are. I can't believe anyone would blast Carly Simon's music in any manner. It fit so perfectly in this movie, and the movie reminded me of her storytelling songs. Only Carly, could have those little guys marching and singing. After all, doesn't her abundance of of hit songs having America and the world singing, too? Kudos to Piglet and Carly. Carly's video at the end of the movie was the icing on the cake. I hope to see her soundtracks in many more Disney movies.
Movie Review: Awesome! Summary: 5 Stars
I love Winnie the Pooh and all the Pooh characters -- more importantly, my very young grandchildren love them... This movie is so precious -- definitely one of the best... It is essentially about Piglet doubting himself and his gifts, yet, throughout the movie realizing just how special and important to many he really is just in being himself... Great messages for the little ones, mostly along the line of not comparing ourselves to others vs. learning the personal gifts we innately hold and offering those gifts as we can... Someway, somehow, our personal gifts always fit in and impact circumstances in some profound way... Love it!
Movie Review: Excellent movie with great values Summary: 5 Stars
I have a two-year-old, and though i'm no TV advocate, I do let her watch PBS shows like Sesame Street & Curious George, and yes, full-length movies like Piglet's Big Movie. This is such a meaningful story, and my little one loves all the songs in it, and can hum along to some of them. Yes, there are some dark, sad moments, but as long as we are watching with them, and reassuring them through the sad bits,I don't see a problem. I have watched a lot of Pooh movies, and this is one of the best. The music and songs are catchy and uplifting, and the story itself has wonderful values for little ones, and everyone else.
Movie Review: There's A Little Pig On A Big Movie! Summary: 5 Stars
Piglet's Big Movie is my favorite movie so far. But when I saw it in theatres I noticed that some younger kids were scared near the end, when Pooh lost his balance on the log over the river. Then there were also funny parts, which was why I liked Piglet's Big Movie. My favorite funny parts: Funny Part #1: Eeyore: Have you grabbed onto my tail yet Roo? Roo? Funny Part # 2: Rabbit: Now, no one panic, the first thing we need to do is not to panic because, SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING! DO ANYTHING! Well, my hands are getting tired of typing now.
