Movie Reviews of Picnic : RestoredMovie Review: The best Summary: 5 Stars
What more can be said about this movie, a classic, based on a classic enduring play by William Inge that it is the best. The dance scene with Kim Novak and William Holden is to this day one of the sexiest scenes in movies. You will never regret adding this to your dvd collection. Not to mention the theme - MOONGLOW!!!!!
Movie Review: A Classic Summary: 5 Stars
Picnic is one of the best films to come out of mid '50's Hollywood. Taken from William Inge's play, it is unique in that the entire film takes place in exactly 24 hours. Yet, by the end, you KNOW each and every character. William Holden heads a stellar cast. Excellent summer viewing.
Movie Review: Picnic Summary: 5 Stars
This is one of the best pictures ever. I replaced my VHS copy with a CD. The dance scene between Willian Holden and Kim Novak continues to be one of the most sensual ever filmed. When their eyes met, they knew they loved each other. This movie will always be one of my favorites.
Movie Review: Erotic without the Sleeze Summary: 5 Stars
The dance scene played to moonglow must be the ultimate depiction of sexual attraction between a man and woman Hollywood every did.
The depiction of small town America in summer is priceless.
A classic in many ways......enjoy it.
Movie Review: great movie! great acting! great score! Summary: 5 Stars
A terrific movie with the stunning and haunting "Moonglow" soundtrack. The cast is wonderful with a standout by Arthur O'Connell and the scene stealer herself, the Glorious Roz Russell!
