Movie Review: CHECK THE RUNNING TIME !
Summary: 5 Stars
I've loved this movie since I was a kid (No, not when it came out...33). Irene Dunne and Cary Grant were flawless together. I bought the DVD put out by Platinum Disc Corp. The picture quality is pretty ... good (especially for [$$$]), but BEWARE...there is no running time listed. ... I just got the Catcom DVD(n/a from Amazon) which has that part, but the pic quality is lousy.Also, unless it's a typo, it may be missing about ...min. from somewhere else, because on the back it says ... minutes. Somehow, somewhere I need to get the perfect copy. ...

We just lost our firstborn son. I first saw this movie when I was 12 years old, it brought tears to my eyes.
I never thought that I would ever experience this pain and heartbreak. At the present time, my wife and
I are on the edge of ending our 40 year marriage. Guilt and Blame. God help us, I do not want to lose
his mother also. The pain is more than I can possibly describe.

A wonderful old movie that tells a story of a childless couple and their efforts to make a family. Even though the movie is black and white, it is still beautiful videography. If you were fortunate enough to stumble upon this movie when old ones were being shown sometime, you wonder where the story is going till close to the end, and then you want to see it again.Movie Review: Love Those Black and Whites

Cary Grant gives his best performance in this tragicomedy. He doesn't leave a dry eye when he pleads to keep the daughter he and Irene Dunne have adopted. The old songs are nice too. Wonder if there will be any "old songs" from the current era.Movie Review: Cary Grant is awesome!

I have wanted this movie since I saw it on PBS many years ago. The sound quality is a bit low, but I am still very happy to have it. A good purchase for the price.
