Movie Review: Explosion of color and sound
Summary: 5 Stars
This movie is colorful in every way. The cinematography is lusious, the costumes are extravagant, the music is what color would sound like (the soundtrack is a great buy, i've burned it for all my friends, and haven't had anything but praises). Maculay, Seth, Marilyn, and Chloe make this movie something like a moment of experience in the club scene a la NY 1980s. I had a lot of fun with the DVD because there is an interview with the real Michael Alig, and he's just so much fun. It is a great piece.Movie Review: This is a GREAT movie!

I watched this movie the other night not thinking that it was not going to be that good considering some of the reveiws that I had read. I LOVED IT!!!! The movie was great from the start to the finish. I dont know to much about the real Mike, so I am not sure if the movie follows that story line or not, (I just ordered the shockamentary). I have watched this movie twice already and I sure to watch it several more times. If you are thinking about buying this movie....DO IT!!!!!Movie Review: Authentic

McCauley Culkin received some bad reviews for his portrayal of Michael Alig. I might pose that those reviewers are unfamiliar with how over-the-top club kids were in the 80's. What has been construed as bad acting is really an excellent parrotting of bad living. This movie is out of this world. Seth and Mac are flawless in this movie and really play both people very well. After watching this you will want to go get wacked, get glittered out, go to a club, and read the books.
