In 1964 when this movie came out in the theaters the reviews it got were not good. I was 14 at the time and remember my mother reading about it in the newspaper, and the headline for this movie was "Paris When It Fizzles." There was little chemistry between Hepburn and Holden. When I finally saw the movie. They were right. I simply like both actors, mainly because I liked them in "Sabrina" but, like the critics said; it fizzled.Movie Review: Not even Audrey can salvage this one....

I agree with the viewers from Texas -- this was AWFUL! I couldn't wait for it to end. And until seeing this, I didn't think Audrey had made any truly bad movies. It's completely silly and pointless, and the vampire scene alone made me wonder if the writers and producers were on drugs when they made this.Movie Review: Oh my!
