This series is one I found hard to follow. Each episode involves completely new characters or vaguely touches upon prior characters and it is sometimes hard to find the connection. The story line keeps you guessing then abandons the characters or takes a turn. - But you want to know so you keep watching. I wouldn't call this a thriller, but more like a mystery, maybe? But in the end it all comes together and everything makes sence...
The animation is among the better of the various series I have watched. If I had to compare this to anything else I have watched I guess I would compare it to Boogie pop phantom- but a lot better and eaiser to follow -Anyone?

However, after the third and fourth attacks upon unrelated victims led to the same description of a young attacker with a golden baseball bat and in-line skates, the police had to wonder- is the "Lil' Slugger" real or a sinister phantom?
