Movie Review: From an EMT student
Summary: 4 Stars
It's true what the previous reviewer said, it's not that gory. However, the scenes aren't for sensitive viewers, either. Some scenes are too grizzly for public television. If you're curious about the kind of trauma calls and deaths that EMTs/Paramedics sometimes have to deal with, then you might like it. If you're in EMS, you'll like it. Some people may not like the DVD because a lot is going on, and they don't understand the terminology/procedures that are being performed on scene by rescuers. Sometimes, people expect to see eyeballs, guts, and brains splattered all over the place. If that's what you're into, then stick to hollywood movies. In real life, super gory-hollywood style trauma accidents are rare. Overall, it's an interesting DVD to watch if you want to catch a glimpse of the lives of street medics.
