Movie Review: Leaves you speachless

Rarely do you see a movie that just takes you breath away. I was left sitting in my living room just sitting in the dark after the credits rolled. It must have been 5 min. where I was just staring off into space when finaly I said "WOW!!". Truly amazing. Great story, amazing animation, superb sound track. I am so glad I watched this anime. It's fantastic! Wonderful imagery, great character design, powerful storytelling. It's a meditation on dreams with heart. so don't expect a super complex story or a fast paced story or a story that goes into deep technological explanation. The themes are quite deep and resonating. All i have to say about Paprika is what a wonderful movie it is. It doesn't take long after the movie starts for you to start gasping at how imaginative the movie is. With its focus on dreams the creators had no limit to what they could put in here and it shows. I've been looking for a good anime for a very long time and just could not find one, until I found Paprika. Satoshi Kon is one of the best anime directors out there and has an amazing ability to suck you right into the story line. What is reality? How do we know what we see is real? You cant realy prove that anything is real? "Paprika" adresses this subject in an interesting way. This movie made me think and keeped me intertained at the same time. I would recomend it to "intellectual" anime fans. Someone who would like this would also like "Perfect Blue".
