Movie Review: Better than the First!

Previous reviews have already mentioned the great casting of Christopher Walken. His attempts to function in an unfamiliar human world provide moments of humor in the film. Contrary to the previous reviewer's opinion, this film has a more coherent plot than the first and third installments of the Prophecy series, and contains some truly artistic and memorable scenes, particularly the conclusion of Jennifer Beal's confrontation with Walken, and Russell Wong revealing the full glory of his angelic nature to Beals. Much of what makes these scenes and others like them work is the high calibre acting. It is surprising that this film went straight to video considering its quality. It is certainly better than the first.
