Movie Review: Putting a Visual With The Music

I was really happy AMAZON had this DVD because no store in my so called town had it in stock. If you are a Pet Shop Boys fan this DVD is a must have and worth the price tag. You get almost all of the groups videos. The DVD includes over 40 cuts. The Pet Shops Boys music is dancy, techno type of music almost, but in the videos Neil and Chris don't really dance--they just have a presence. Some of the videos are a little strange, like "It's Alright." I have never seen a lot of these videos because most of them weren't aired in the states often. As a Pet Shop Boys fan finally being able to put an image with the song was somewhat satisfying, I am glad I bought this DVD and if you like PSB you will be glad to buy it too.Movie Review: An Influential Dance Group's Anthology

Who could ask for more? The Pet Shop Boys remain one of the most Influential Dance Groups in dance clubs today. This is a group that was Techno before Techno came into existance and had great collaborations with the late Dusty Springfield (What Have I Done To Deserve This) and Boy George (The Crying Game).
But this DVD showcases Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe at their best. From the memorable synth progressions of classics like the rappish "West End Girls" and "Love Comes Quickly" to their hard punching Technofied music of the nineties and today, The Pet Shop Boys always deliver.
Without the Pet Shop Boys, We would've been robbed of some great music to move to.

Being a PSB fan since 1987, it is a true pleasure and in fact almost a gift to enjoy 41 videos on a DVD for 25 $ Canadian ! The DVD is simple to use, the music is well reproduced and plays with the same quality as a CD on my system. The fact that as much as 41 videos are present makes the experience rich because each time you pop up the DVD there's something to listen to and look at depending on your feelings.Must have for any PSB fan and any discoverer of PSB. The track commentary is funny also. For 25 $ this is a steal.

AS A DJ (DJ JIMMYP), I ESPECIALLY APPRECIATE THIS SLICK PRODUCTION OF VIDEOS COMBINED INTO ONE PACKAGE THRU "NIGHTLIFE" ERA. AMAZINGLY PRODUCED BY APPLE RECORDS INTERACTIVE VIDEO. IT'S EXTRA FEATURES PLAY LIKE A VIDEO GAME WITH COMPLETE COMMENTARY ON EACH CLIP. ONE FORGETS THE 30+ SINGLES OVER TIME AND THIS IS A HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTION IN SIGHT AND SOUND. THE ONLY THING REALLY MISSING IS THIER THEME FROM THE BRITISH TV SERIES "ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS" WHICH APPEARS ON AN EARLIER VCR VERSION OF HITS. THIS IS A MUST FOR PSB FANS.Movie Review: At Last! For fans of the Pet Shop Boys, this is finally their chance to own all of the duo's video on one collection, barring any future releases. The previously released "Videography" included videos up to the early 90s and I believe not available on Region 1. Other video releases after that point were either available only on VHS or on region free DVDs from less than reputable sources. But now, fans of the Pets and pop music at large can enjoy all of the videos. The wait... "Was It Worth It?" Yes indeed!
