Movie Review: Wonderful movie, A nice surprise.

I'm not going to lie, at first I thought this movie was going to be ridiculous--because even though I love Gerard Butler, I wasn't so sure I'd like this movie at all.
So I started out watching it and I have to say it's a beautiful movie, not only sad, but uplifiting and heartfelt. It's a wonderful movie!!! Those who love a nice tear jerker that makes you sigh happily at the end and feel all gushy will love this movie! Not to mention a hot striptease by Gerard Butler ;)!

Having been widowed, I found this movie not only very realistic but very uplifting. Holly finds starting over after the death of her husband easier because of Jerry's last act of love for his wife. He knew how to help her heal and begin a new life because he knew her best.
Grief is accurately depicted as crushing without bogging the film down in sentiment or floods of tears. This film is proof that our loved ones remain with us, and life goes on.

I didn't know what the movie was about when I purchased it, I never read the back before watching it, I had no idea of what it was about. It was a very moving picture, a great love story in which at times I couldn't help shedding a few tears. Gerard Butler is a hunk and it makes you wany to marry an Irish man. This would have to be the best movie I've seen in a long time, Couldn't wait to give it to my daughter to watch and have told all my friends about it.Movie Review: Close To A Perfect Movie

P.S. I Love You -- Wow! I first saw this on a friend's tv and became addicted to all things Gerard Butler! The next step was to take delivery of a Netflix copy of the movie (which I kept until my copy of the dvd arrived!). Since then, I have purchased a copy for my daughter and shown the movie to friends. It's funny, tragic, and over all perfect!
