Movie Review: Great story-great cast
Summary: 5 Stars
Very entertaining movie.(I've heard that's what movies are supposed to be) Great casting and I thought it was very believable. Gerard Butler has charisma and is an excellent actor. Hillary Swank was very good. The whole cast was excellent. I've seen the movie 5 times. I finally gave up and bought the DVD after seeing it 3 times. I'm old but in my life time, I've only seen 3 men actors just jump off the screen; one was Paul Newman in the Long, Hot Summer, 2nd was Brad Pitt in Thelma and Louise and 3rd is Gerard Butler in this movie. I've ordered two more movies with G.B. starring. It's too bad the way the movie was marketed. I had no desire to see it after seeing trailers of the movie. I saw it one night & fully anticipated that I would probably turn it off. Needless to say to say, I loved it. Even bought the musical score!Movie Review: Strange twists of fate

Gerry (Gerard Butler) and Holly (Hilary Swank) are married, without children, and are very much in love. Swept off her feet at a tender age by the handsome Irishman, Holly isn't exactly sure what she wants from life, and this leads to petty squabbles and extremely hot making up afterwards.
Before they really get started, the Fates snip Gerry's thread, and Holly is left with a snazzy urn and an empty apartment, which she proceeds to fill with her blue funk.
Her thirtieth birthday brings a big surprise, as it seems that for once, Gerry has made a plan. Gerry's gift goes on giving, and gradually Holly comes to terms with her life, while we, the audience, get to look on with unbridled glee.
Butler is as easy on the eyes as always, and Swank pulls off a difficult role with apparent ease. Lisa Kudrow is a perfect friend, and Kathy Bates proves unsinkable. Other good performances are logged by Gina Gershon and Harry Connick Jnr.

A chick flick, but an extremely watchable one, especially for fans of Gerard Butler.

Movie Review: NEVER RECEIVED!!!!!!

Well here it is five weeks since I ordered this movie & I still haven't received it! I also haven't had a response from seller or Zodiac Movies to my request in tracking purchase. MY OPINION....never doing this online again. They were quick to charge my account on June 2, the date I placed the order & my credit card company paid them, but I NEVER received merchandise. Shame on you.Movie Review: you need at least 1 box of kleenex!

I thought it worth 4 stars, but wife 5+ stars, yes this is a chick flick but a very good one, really like the kid actor, one the new best coming up young actors, story cute, good sit down popcorn friday night date movie
