Movie Review: Stallone's Best Movie Ever
Summary: 5 Stars
I have to agree with everyone. This is Sylvester Stallone's best movie. I grew up watching the Rocky movies and the REambo movies but when I saw this on network television I was absolutely blown away by the fact that Stallone could really act if he were given the chance. This movie showcases some of his best acting that his earlier films didn't show.
Now that this movie is finally coming out on DVD I would recommend this movie to everyone out there. There is nothing out there which would delegate this movie to a certain age restriction as it ranks on my list as one of the top ten family movies. It'll move your heart and cause you to think and care for the characters in this movie. It even had one of the best movies to come out of Hollywood in a long time.
Movie Review: The World Meets No One Half Way

It is completely about time that this has been released onto DVD. I have been waiting so long for it to be released. Why did it take so long for this movie to be released onto DVD when it was one of Stallone's most popular movies. There are so many bad movies out there that were released onto DVD and they would never release this. This is my favorite Stallone movie and I honestly think he looks his best in it. This movie has always been one of my favorites that I've always loved and cannot wait to receive it on DVD. I bought this DVD for my boyfriend who armwrestles professionally (before I dated him I didn't know there was such a thing). Anyway, I got it for him for his birthday. He kept dropping subtle hints about wanting the movie on DVD because his VHS version had seen better days. Upon receiving his gift, you would have thought I had given him the world. He bragged about his gift to all his friends and fellow armwrestling acquaintances. He said the quality of this DVD is excellent. The only complaint he had was that there were not any special features other than the original movie trailer.Movie Review: Explanation

In my opinion, the reason why this movie did not do well at the box office back in '87 was because it was advertised as an action movie only. The fact is that this more resembles the original Rocky film in that it is a drama with pieces of action but not at all a complete action film. Despite that, this is a very underrated film with some (okay maybe a lot of)"over the top" acting. The point is that even with those flaws, it is still a great movie with a redeeming and good story line that delivers important values/lessons for us all.Movie Review: Fantastic Movie

This is hands down one of the best movies from the 80's. It is the BEST Sylvester Stallone movie every made. It has a little something for everyone... Need a little action? It has arm wrestling. Are you with your lady and need a little drama? It has Hawk trying to gain the love of his son. Like motor vehicles? It has freaking TRUCKS! BIG ONES! Seriously what more is there? I do not understand how you people could give this movie anything under 4 stars. I think all the low reviews are just Stallone haters.
