Movie Review: 4.5 stars?
Summary: 5 Stars
Out of Time is about a drug busting cop who is caught in a plot. He has an affair with a girl who turns out to scheme for his money. She tells him she has cancer, and that the treatment she needs costs a lot of money. Denzel takes the drug-bust money and gives it to the girl, but the girl, along with a few accomplices, flees and sets him up for murder through arson. Denzel finds himself in a big pile of mess. He must get the money back and somehow get himself out of all the trouble.
This movie has kept me at the edge of my seat. My eyes, literally, could have be taken off the screen. As great as the movie is, it is kind of predictable. Still, I recommend it to everyone. Very enjoyable and thrilling!
Movie Review: Box Office Flop Should Be A Winner

"Out of Time" is a tautly paced crime thriller about a small town Florida cop investigating a double homicide in which all evidence points to him as the prime suspect. Despite the film's morally clouded ending, director Carl Franklin navigates the plot turns and twists with workmanlike efficiency, resulting in an engaging neo-noir tale of lust, greed and deception.In my opinion, this film is a marvel, the plot twists every scene, and it leaves you on the edge of your seat every second. I'll admit, the start might be a little slow, but it is easily made up for by the rest of the film.
Movie Review: SMASHING STUFF !!!!

Even with it's flaws, I just loved this film and so did everybody else that watched it with me. Denzel is perfect as the harrassed/tainted detective [shades of "Training Day"] and Eva Mendes is also spot on.
Carl Franklin's direction keeps the film moving at a crackerjack pace after a meandering start.
The acting, the cinematography, the editing is also first class.The score by Graeme Revell is excellent.
If one overlooks the few flaws, as I have, you'll have a great time. Kudos to everyone associated with the film.
Movie Review: Excellent suspense for a 2-hour movie.

Okay, now this was a great movie. The reason I said it was excellent suspense for a 2-hour movie is because I just came off of a 2 day, season 1 and 2 of a "24 Hours" marathon and I think my heart literally almost stopped beating due to the suspense. This movie is just a suspenseful as 24 Hours and definitely gets my vote for "a movie to purchase". Denzel is dynamic as usual and his actions keep you at the end of your chair and shouting at the screen. Pick this one up today!!!Movie Review: "Out of Time" is Worth Your Time and Dime

This movie, from the beginning to the end, keeps you at the edge of your seat primarily for two reasons: first, the movie is jam packed with captivating/unforgettable scenes and, secondly, the originality of the story leaves you little or no room at all to predict the next outcome---making you, thus, so much absorbed."Out of Time" definitely is worth both your time and dime.
