Movie Review: One of the rare entertainers of this generation that actually carry a show on her own...
Summary: 5 Stars
Shakira is one of the biggest stars around, the Oral Fixation Tour while not the flashiest of concerts, focused on Shakira's music and unique stage presence. Some have complained that the show was not flashy enough, not enough lights and props, yet we are constantly bombarded with pop tart concerts filled with sound effects and dancers that take away or rather distract the audience from the music or lack there of. Shakira as a real artist is able to showcase her range and talent throughout the DVD. With few costume changes and an intimate setting Shakira was able to connect with the crowd and show viewers what she is really made of.
She seamlessly transitions from pop star, to rocker, to nostalgic romantic to hipshaker throughout the DVD. The added documentaries are a nice touch and allow Shakira to explain to fans old and new the meaning and reason behind her foundation Pies Descalzos.
Movie Review: Full of energy

This is a great concert by Shakira from Miami, Florida. The show is fun and full of energy. Shakira's dancing throughout the songs makes for a lively show. The crowd is also lively and really into the music. My favorite performances are "La Tortura", "Whenever, Whenever", and the grand finale "Hips Don't Lie". Other songs here are "Estoy Aquí", "Te Dejo Madrid", "Don't Bother", "Antología", "Hey You", "Inevitable", "Si Te Vas", "No", "La Pared", Underneath Your Clothes", "Pies Descalzos", "Ciega, Sordomuda", and "Ojos Así". A lot of extras are here. The bonus clips are "Obtener Un Sí", "La Pared", and the video "Las De La Intucion". The CD has "Estoy Aqui", "Don't Bother", "Invetiable", "La Pared", and "Hips Don't Lie" on it.
Movie Review: Simply the best

I've been a Shakira's fan since the very beginning of her career. I admire her as a singer and as a person and I believe that Shaki, more than anyone, deserves the recognition she's having right now. I was in the concert and I didn't know they were making a DVD (lucky me!!!!!) It was a surprise when I bought it and I'm very satisfied with both, the spectacle I saw live and now the DVD...I believe is a 5 star and it is much better than the previous tour. Even if you are not a die hard Shakira's Fan, this is one you would like to have. Actually I bought two DVD...one for me and another for my cousin...I gave it to him as a birthday present and he loved it....the bonus CD is also pretty good ;)Movie Review: Shakira

Shakira is my favorite artist, i have all of her albums. Period.
Unfortunately due to my job i couldnt attend this tour, i went to the mongoose and the amphibian tour and those were great shows, always amazing. But this had to be the exception.
The show is great as usual, great songs, great performances, and a great artist.
The only thing that i dont like is that she should have performend more from the oral fixation albums (i would have loved to see How do you do and En tus pupilas live).
But its a great dvd, a must have for fans.
Movie Review: Seguir amando Shakira es inevitable

This woman just gets better with time. She is still so strong lyrically, vocally and musically, and she puts on a show better than she ever did. She wipes the floor with all her other pop contemporaries, who are miles behind her gorgeous dance moves, her poetic lyrics, and her powerful voice. And on top of all this, she is an incredible entertainer and performer! Watch Antología and try not to cry. I recommend this DVD not just to Shakira fans (who, sadly, are the only ones buying it) but to anyone who wants to see a great show.
