Movie Review: Submarine war adventure with comedy

I always did love Cary Grant and Tony Curtis - put them together in this movie and you have a something to laugh about - crusing around the pacific ocean in war time - on board of all things a pink submarime and what they got up to in getting her ready just to keep her afloat - here to the Seatiger and all the crew who rode in her - or as some would say here to all submariners may they keep our oceans free and safe.Movie Review: powerful secret american tactics

Until now, I though the USA won WW II owing his big weapon production, big army, atomic bomb...
But never I was able to think USA Army knew tactics that included to shot a torpedo and hit a Japanese truck from a ruined pink submarine. Enemy confronted with these tremendous tactics logically must be demoralized forever. Superb comedy, impossible to find in today cinema.

Operation Petticoat is one of Cary Grant's best films. The script keeps the viewer in stitches for most of the movie. My boyfriend (who was skeptical) loved it and is buying one for his parents and his niece (who is 10 years old). Filled with good clean laughter and superb casting this film is guarenteed to be a favorite of any viewer regardless of their age!Movie Review: Grant is just wonderful

Cary Grant never disappoints, and he doesn't here. The comedic play between him and Tony Curtis is great, especially when he is explaining to the MP about Seaman Hornsby.
