Movie Review: What a great movie!
Summary: 5 Stars
I discovered this movie on a Greyhound bus to go stay with my girlfriend out of town, which is 6 hours away (11 by bus). When you're stuck in a bus for 11 hours, anything to pass the time is great. Being a guy that has a soft spot for chick flicks, this movie really surprised me. It's not really all sappy or anything, it's just more taken from real life. There's no unrealistic dialogue. If you are the kind of person that enjoys realism in movies, then this is the movie for you. It has it all.
It has comedy, romance, adventure (kind of). This movie really kind of takes you on a roller coaster ride. The acting in it is brilliant. I give Michelle and George 5 stars for their acting. It helps that it's a great script too, though. The music is fitting to the story. I really like the point in the movie where they put in Van Morrison's Have I Told You Lately, it's so fitting.
To sum up the movie in as least amount of words as possible, I would say the movie is about how a day can seem hectic, full of problems, and just downright stressful. But at the end of the day, it can be looked upon as a great day. You can hate someone at the start of a day, and at the end, fall in love with them.
This movie will have a special meaning to me for a long time, because the day I saw it to me, was exactly like the movie. Stressful, tiring, and long, but in a nutshell it was...ONE FINE DAY!
Movie Review: CLOONEY AND PFEIFFER ARE WONDERFUL TOGETHER!

This a wonderful film to watch no matter what time of year it is. Melanie, Pfeiffer, is a single mom trying to juggle a time consuming job and a precocious little boy. Jack ,Clooney, is a newspaper reporter and part-time father who not only hasn't grown up but is having problems taking responsibility for is energetic daughter. Where does this lead.. Well, Melanie is suppose to pick up Maggie ,Clooney's daughter, and Jack was suppose to call Melanie to let her know that the plans were changed. Neither have ever met the other due to the fact that they only know of each other through Jack's ex-wife. The unforseen delay causes the children to be late for their school field trip. Now, they both have a busy workday ahead of them and nowhere for the children to stay. This is when the movie starts to heat up. The attraction between Melanie and Jack is apparent, but they both are weary and cynical. The movie spans 24 hours, in which both have to deal with several important issues and eventually learn that your children come first. Oh, and that love is just around the corner. This is a wonderfully fun movie, with a witty dialogue and talented cast.Movie Review: One Fine Movie

Michelle Pfeiffer, who is very pretty and a wonderful actress, plays a single working mother Melanie Parker who has a five-year-old son named Sammy (played by Alex D. Linz.) She one day has to hurry to get her son to his field trip. George Clooney plays Jack Taylor who is a writer and sees his six-year-old daughter Maggie (played by Mae Whitman) every weekend. When both their kids miss their field trip, the two are stuck babysitting their two kids while they both also try to work. They also fall in love. Michelle Pfeiffer and George Clooney have amazing chemistry, and they're both good actors. Alex D. Linz and Mae Whitman are also good actors and they both look like their onscreen parents. I love this movie. It's so good and funny and intelligent humor. I like Michelle more then Meg Ryan or Kate Hudson. She's a beautiful woman and a good actor. And George Clooney looks a lot younger in this movie then he does today, but still also good actor.Movie Review: One Fine Film!!

Michelle Pfeiffer and George Clooney are magic on the screen together! This is pure entertainment, loved the kids as well. Why Michelle has only been nominated and never won an Oscar is beyond me. Some of the finest actors and actresses in Hollywood never win. Michelle is wholesome and makes great films be it comedy or drama so what's up with that? They finally recognized her on the walk of stars in Hollywood - after how many great films???? Has anyone seen her in Deep End of the Ocean - what a performance. Also great in Frankie and Johnny. Really Cute Movie..and absolutely perfect for a rainy day on the couch with a nice cup of Hot Chocolate. My absolute favorite movie of Michelle Pfeiffer and George Clooney. Movie Magic just blossoms with each scene..as these two deal with a whole day of absolute "craziness".
I could watch this again and again. :)
