Movie Review: Greatest aide for Potty training!

This DVD is great!!! I highly recommend. I purchased both DVDs, "Once Upon A Potty For Him" and "Once Upon A Potty For Her". I had been trying to potty train my son's triplets off and on for 6 months, a boy and two girls. Trying to potty train triplets has been quite an exhausting and frustrating experience for me. I tried everything from having them read books while they were sitting, to running the water from the faucet to get results. My grandson wanted nothing to do with using the potty chair before getting these DVD's. I couldn't get him to sit for more than 30 seconds. One of my granddaughters was doing OK off and on, but not ready for big girl undies. I can't believe the results obtained after watching these DVDs the first day. They enjoyed them so much, we must have watched them half a dozen times that day. One of my granddaughters went almost all day with only 1 accident. My grandson was actually wanting training pants by the second day. We watched the DVDs at the beginning of each day. I can honestly say by the end of the week we achieved success with two out of three. Boy, is that gonna save my son some $$$ not having to buy so many diapers! They still get diapers during nap time and when they go to bed at night, but I see that coming to end soon since they are beginning to wake up dry. My second granddaughter marches to her own beat and does things on her own time table. After about 2 weeks she finally started coming around. I wish I had known about these DVDs 6 months ago.

For many seasons, both the for Him and for Her versions of Once Upon a Potty in VHS cassette format have been best-selling items at bookstores throughout America. Now, both of these two cheerfully animated cartoons are also available as DVDs to make toilet training a little easier on both parents and kids. One DVD tells a little boy's story of potty-training success; the other tells a girl's story. Toddlers will enjoy watching Joshua and Prudence graduate from diapers to potty, and will want to emulate these cheery cartoon kids and sing The Potty Song along with them. This video expands upon the popular children's book by the same name in two ways: there's a sing-along potty song and a 13-minute doctor's statement for parents. The director of child psychiatry at a prominent New York hospital will calmly reassure you that it's perfectly normal for Junior to be taking his sweet time letting go of the diapers, and that's worth a lot. And the animated retelling of Joshua's potty progress is good, too. But it's the "music video" of the oh-so-catchy "Potty Song" that makes this half-hour tape. And just in case you aren't already singing the song in line at the bank or the grocery store, the thoughtful producers have included a lyric sheet for you.
