Movie Review: Delightful, warm, and inspiring.
Summary: 5 Stars
One of the best movies I've seen in recent years - delightful, warm, and inspiring. The scenery is breathtaking, but mostly I loved the story. I think Valentina de Angelis did as much to make this movie wonderful as anyone, but all of the acting was superb. The nudity is done with such great taste that I would rate this as a family movie. If you haven't seen this film, see it. It's a keeper. I will tell you now, however, it's a little slow to start and more than a little quirky. It may not appeal to younger people for these reasons. No car chases.. nor big explosions..or small ones for that matter. There is some bad language. Stick to it, as the movie begins to evolve when the tax man enters the plot. In addition to being well-done and full of interesting people, it had the inherent appeal of non-wasteful people, living a sustainable, more natural life. I've been reading a lot about "Peak Oil" and this movie resonated about how people could be happy living a more natural, frugal life without all the wasteful, frivolous "stuff" we consume voraciously.Movie Review: living the simple life
