Movie Review: Barbara is TRULY a GREAT actress!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I had seen parts of this movie many years ago and never saw the whole movie. This movie really shows the great talent that Ms. Streisand has! "Nuts" is DEFINATELY worth your time and money!

Movie Review: Barbara, Barbara, Barbara
Summary: 5 Stars

So much talent, Every body makes every body work in this one. This was the right cast through out and Barbara carries the field.

Movie Review: Nuts
Summary: 5 Stars

This is one Barbra's greatest accomplishments. Not a musical and no signing, but what an actress. A must see.

Movie Review: NUTS

Great DVD. Arrived in great condition and got it at a fraction of the cost.

Movie Review: One Of Barbra's Best Dramatic Performances
Summary: 4 Stars

"Nuts" is a film about a strong-willed, high-class call woman (Barbra) who kills a customer (Leslie Nielsen) in self-defense. To avoid scandal, her parents (Maureen Stapleton & Karl Malden) try to have her declared mentally incompetent. Not helping matters is that she is distrustful of everybody, including her court-appointed attorney (Richard Dreyfuss), and is disruptive during her court hearings. The movie is based on a stage play by the same name, written by Tom Topor. "Nuts" was considered a box office disappointment in relation to it's budget, although it did not actually lose money. The cast is grand & the writing is good too, the only thing I don't like is Barbra's long speech at the end, because it reminds us that this was a Broadway play, not that I don't like Broadway plays, because I do, it's just that speech is too long & too Broadway for a film.
