This Nuremberg DVD is a factual account of what happened. Most people do not realize that there was more than one Nuremberg trial. There were two movies made about the trials and it should be known that this DVD covers the first, and most important, trial of Hitler's fellow criminals. It's superbly acted and directed. If you purchase this DVD, you must purchase the version staring Spencer Tracy. It's a continuation of the incident at Nuremberg.Movie Review: effective, historically accurate production

As a Holocaust educator, I found "Nuremberg" an accurate and compelling look at the pre-trial events and the trial itself. Knowing the accuracy of the movie makes it quite worthwhile. Another bonus is the fact the actors that portray the Nazi defendants look almost like their real life photos. Better than I expected, this is (for my money) TNT's best ever production. It worked as a mini-series. As a movie, it is LONG (over three hrs) and absorbing. If you like great courtroom drama, here it is. Brian Cox is fantastic as Goering. This movie actually popped up in my head one day and I remembered watching it on TNT. TNT always showed great movies such as the Mists of Avalon. I just had to add this movie to the collection. It is a great depiction of the trial of the Nazi war criminals at Nuremberg! Awesome movie!Movie Review: One of the best nazi films ever made

The best part of the movie was when the sentances were carried out. The men who did the atrocities to the jews deserved so much more but got what they deserved in the long run. I absolutly love this movie and the book.
