Movie Reviews of Nowhere to Run

Movie Review: the best and most realistic van damme movie
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm so glad they made a more realistic van damme movie. I was getting so tired of all this movies where he does all these flying spining dodo kicks which are either repeated a dozen times or are in slow motion. He also didn't hit the final bad guy 500 times or shoot him 7 times to beat him. There was actually some rolling around, grappling, and punching on the ground, which your more likely to see in real life then somebody spin kicking a guy a dozen times. They also didn't overdo showing to many action scenes like in double impact (which is still an awesome movie), but this one was more believable. I don't know why so many people kept saying he did a lot of fancy high kicks in this movie. He didn't, but he still pulled off a variety of fancy moves while managing not to overdo them. I would tell you more but I'd end up giving the whole movie away. This is a must for van damme fans or any action or movie buff.

Movie Review: Best Van Damme Movie Ever!
Summary: 5 Stars

Well first of all I never really liked Van Damme's movies, well it's not so much that I didn't like them but it was pretty much the same thing over and over again...he would beat up people. However, this movie had a different story line. It wasn't only an action movie, but a drama as well. I think that he did a great job potraying the character and he really took on the role of the "father" for the little boy. I think he did a great job with that, since when you looked at him, you could tell that he wanted to be part of that family. I think he should do more movies like this, and it is definetely worth seeing/buying...you'll enjoy it :). So don't wait any longer, BUY it. Oh and this one isn't only for guys...my mom saw it with me and she enjoyed it as well. I believe females will enjoy this one as well.

Movie Review: He's got a big WHAT???
Summary: 5 Stars

Nowhere to Run is absolutely stunning. Jean Claude van Damme plays a role of an escape convict who landed in a fatherless family that draws to their affection to him. The dining table scene was just awakening when the children discussed about his big peepee. But mother, Rosanna Arquette utters in and said was average. Stimulating as it seems to be, the skinny dipping scene in the lake was a great model shot of Van Damme. Hoooh! What a bud! Rosanna Arquette, although irresistible in her great looks, played a lonely mother. I mean real lonely and surely got what she's longing for. Great action flick! I give it 5 stars.

Movie Review: Great movie!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a typical Jean Claude van Damme movie but it is really good. There is a plot, action, comedy and drama which actually blend together quite nicely. It's a good no-brainer, almost feel good at the end kind of movie. I don't particularly care for Rosanna Arquette but she did ok. Ted Levine (the Capt. from the USA show Monk) is really great as a bad guy. He doesn't have his mustache in this movie but his voice is very distint. Anyway, if you like Jean Claude, I think that you will like this movie. It is one of his better movies during the peak of his popularity.

Movie Review: Nowhere to Run
Summary: 5 Stars

An escaped convict befriends a young widow and helps her battle corrupt land developers who want to force her off her land. Jean-Claude Van Damme does an excellent job in all of his movies. Van Damme shows more acting than action in this movie. Van Damme does not display the full martial arts arsenal, but he does display surprisingly effective acting as he does not overact in a role that possess more serious evocation than his other martial arts movies. Very entertaining movie.
