Now and ThenI was hesitant at first when I came to amazon because I wasn't sure how easy it would be to order things and get them. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to create an account, purchase items and have them delivered. This movie intertwines the fabric of adulthood with the memories and shared events of childhood among 4 girls and their life journies ....things we take with us and things left behind ...I am fortunate to have 3 girlfriends like those in the movie and we continue to celebrate our friendships and life paths over 34 years now ...and I sent them each a copy of this DVD for our 56th birthdays this year ...Movie Review: Nostalgia Away!

As much as I hate 'chick flicks' this one is an old favorite. I grew up with this movie, and it taught me that I was not alone as a tomboy.
It's a great flick for anyone who has close friends, has ever been in a difficult situation, or anyone who has ever felt out of place.
It's just a great feel good movie that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

OHH NOW AND THEN IS SUCH A CLASIC MOVIE. I JUST RENTED IT 4 DAYS AGO AND IVE WATCHED OVER 8 TIMES!! THIS MOVIE MAKES YOU WANT ALL THE TECHNOLOGY TO GO AWAY AND BE IN THE COUNTRY. YOU WANT TO LIVE 30 YEARS AGO. ITS A KOOL MOVIE! THE MORE I WATCH IT THE MORE I LOVE IT. DEMI MOORE IS SO GOOD IN THIS MOVIE. ALL THE GIRLS PLAY THERE PARTS PERFECTLY! I love this movie!! I watch it with my kids , 21 and 18 , and they laugh when I get excited about the clothes...the bikes....the ponchos !! It is just a big reminder of my childhood. Now the music ...it just makes you want to dance...my kids even added the soundtrack to the ipods. It is one of those movies that make you happy and can be enjoyed over and over.
