Movie Review: One of my favorites!
Summary: 5 Stars
I first saw this movie with my daughter, who borrowed it from a friend. We loved it! The characters are great; all different, yet bonded together in their own ways. The time period is also reminiscent of my own childhood, and the soundtrack is excellent. This movie reminded me of The Sandlot, another great 60's friendship story (with boys, however)...all of the actors, young and older, put in fine performances. The more we watch it, the more we grow attached to it. We own it on video and DVD and wish there were more movies like it!Movie Review: Now and Then

Now and Then is a GREAT MOVIE! I first saw it at my sisters birthday party when one of her friends brought it. I own it know. You can watch this movie over and over and never get bored of it because you notice stuff you didn't see before and it seems to never get boring. It is also a very good family movie because it shows great friendship, losses, and mystery all in one and ity is also good because it is set in the olden times. So it is a good expirence for them to get to see what it was like without TV and Nentendo.Movie Review: I won't belabor the plot description, but this is a wonderful film

"Now and Then" was a film I picked up entirely by accident and I'm very glad I did. It's a great character study of one summer in four girls' lives and how that summer changed them. The music, props, and general culture 'take you back.' Anyone besides me remember when sneakers were only Keds? When divorce was whispered about? When news was papers in books instead of microfilm and now CD? That's the era you go back to. Take a look at the people and the times and see how it shaped those girls. My daughter and I watched this movie for the first time when she was about 13 years old. She is almost 18 now and we still watch it whenever it's on. I bought the movie for her so we could enjoy it whenever we wanted. She opened it and right 'Now and Then' we watched it together for the umpteenth time, enjoying it just as much as we did the first time we watched it together. This is a classic, bringing the past and the present together and bringing a mother and daughter together time and time again.Movie Review: Just buy this DVD!

Better than "Stand By Me", this coming of age movie from the feminine side is so perfectly cast that there is never a moment of boredom and you really do care for all of the characters. This is one super movie, it immediately made my top 10 list so I cannot recommend it enough. The chemistry between the young girl super-cast is a delight. Don't think about renting this movie--purchase it and save the rental fee. All movies should be this good!
