Movie Review: Fantastic, moving, and gripping.

What a great movie! It's a tearjerker, so be prepared, but it is not manipulative -- it tells a simple, true, story in minimalist fashion, letting the characters and events speak for themselves. The determination of the heroine to find her missing student is breathtaking, the poverty is heartbreaking, and the children in her class are genuine and adorable. In these 2 foreign films, we get a glimpse of what life is like for very poor children from other cultures and religions.
