Movie Reviews of Norbit (Full Screen)

Movie Review: Some Funny Moments
Summary: 3 Stars

This movie, with an all-star cast was fairly well-acted and has some genuinely funny moments. Norbit, played by Eddie Murphy, is a mild-mannered, kind of nerdy guy, who has been given some bad breaks in life.
His wife, Rasputia, (also played by Murphy), is an enormous, vain, and extremely annoying diva wanna-be, who tries to control him. The plot is not as strong, nor the movie as funny as some of Murphy's other movies, but if you want some unsophisticated laughs and simple humor, it is worth it.

Movie Review: Not one of Eddie's Best
Summary: 3 Stars

I was looking forward to seeing Norbit as I'm an Eddie Murphy fan and the movie was suppose to be funny. Let me say that I was a little disappointed. This movie was not as funny as I thought it would be and certainly not one of Murphy's best.

Movie Review: It Wasn't That Bad
Summary: 3 Stars

I thought this movie was funny. However, it got scary towards the end. That Rasputia was just crazy- verbally and physically abusive. If you don't want your kids to watch offensive material, next time see the previews and look at the ratings. So now I have to say I've seen enough movies about overweight Black women. How about a comedy with an overweight White woman?

Movie Review: Murphy's great, but the story needs something more
Summary: 3 Stars

First of all,I can't believe Cuba Gooding played such a small stupid part in "Norbit."This great actors talent is so wasted in this Murhpy comedy.Eddie is Great as always taking on 3 roles, especially Rasputia. Some parts are very funny,I have never laughted so hard in my life, but Rasputia is too evil for a comedy, and Norbit is too much like Forest Gump.

Movie Review: How you doin'?
Summary: 3 Stars

This movie was quite comical. Eddie Murphy, once gain, outdid himself. I did find the movie to be a little foul, which is not suprising. The movie had a great lesson in it: Don't be with someone because it's comfortable but be in a relationship where you're truly happy.
