Movie Review: A dizzying kaleidoscope of crap
Summary: 5 Stars
I rate this Eddie Murphy comedy five stars, but not because it is a good movie. In fact, it's so bad I'm not even sure it IS a movie.. It's more of a showcase for Eddie Murphy to play different roles and personalities... He really is astonishing in this.
And let me tell you, Rasputia is not a work of fiction. I know many people like her, black and white, male and female. They think the world revolves around them, and use power to control and manipulate the people in their lives (who would definitely not stay around otherwise). At least that part of the story rang true.
The rest of it was a mess of cliches. The plot was none too original. The fat black woman jokes are getting tired. The comedy was actually not as funny as it was disturbing and depressing, but in that there is kind of a success..because this movie is just so god-awful terrible that it lingers in your mind far longer than it has any right to. The movie may be fluff, but it sure has a way of defining the kind of crap movies this generation prefers. It could be used as an example in film history classes years from today as the ultimate lowest point the film industry ever sunk to, along with SNAKES ON A PLANE and THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE. Really, though, at least this movie is able to laugh at itself, and I can't help but wonder if this is Eddie Murphy's big hate letter to Hollywood...giving us one of the worst movies of all time, and laughing all the way to the bank!
Movie Review: Excellent laugh out loud movie

I saw this movie with a girlfriend last night and will go and see it again with my husband tonight. It is extremely funny. If you are having a really bad day i suggest you take a trip to the movies. This is hillarious. I LOVE NORBIT!!!! I love the honeymoon scenes! Scream, Scream and laugh till you cry moments!! For those of you who found it offensive, and stupid and all the other negative adjectives you came up with, loosen up. It is not a friggin documentary, it is comedy! It shows Eddie's talent as an actor. Many of us cannot dream of doing multiple characters like that. To me it took a lot of skills just for him to keep his lips like that throughout the movie! I absolutely love it. Rasputia is huge and SEXY. She is comfortable in her own skin (so to speak). I love the Character and see it for what it is, a CHARACTER. Go watch it. amazingly Ghost Rider got rave reviews and that show was SH.....! I was bored to death watching that foolish crap. Nothing about that show was realistic but yet it was given five stars; go figure. Say what.... to each his own.Movie Review: Very funny movie

I really enjoyed Norbit, and think it was very funny,I know some people didnt like it and the critics really gave it a bad rating. But I laughed like crazy, it is comedy and Eddie Murphy has me laughing again.
I also enjoyed all the roles Eddie Murphy plays he has a talent for pulling this off. Its a movie I could watch over and over again and still laugh, It is sad how Norbits wife treats him, but Norbit is a winner in the end. Some people have a problem about the women's sizes in the movie me I say hey it is just a movie seems like some people take things to serious about movies.
I just watch them and if I dont like the movie I wont watch it again it is that easy.Not all large black white or any race male or females are as nasty as Norbits wife in the movie. You got nasty people in all races and genders. I cant judge a person by a movie.

ME AND MY FRIENDS WERE IN TEARS THE WHOLE TIME
AND FOR PEOPLE CRYING ABOUT THE FACT THAT THEY WERE MAKING FUN OF BIG PEOPLE,DIFFERENT RACES AND WHATEVER ELSE THEY WERE MAKING FUN OF, YOU SHOULD'NT HAVE SEEN THE MOVIE BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT THEY WERE GONNA DO THAT SO GET OVER IT, AND IF YOU WANNA COMPLAIN ABOUT SOMETHING YOU SHOULD COMPLAIN ABOUT DREAMGIRLS THAT IS BORING.
SO WITH THAT BEING SAID THIS IS MY FAVORITE OF EDDIE MURPHY'S ALONG WITH SHREK AND THE KLUMPS.

The movie "Norbit" is a funny hilarious film.Eddie Murphy stars in the movie he poses as the big fat lady Rasputia and the old man Mr.Wong a asian man who raised him at the orphan. While Norbit is at the orphan he meets Rasputia who becomes his girlfriend and next his wife.Rasputia is mean and controlling.When Norbit starts to get fed up with Rasputia's controlling ways his childhood sweetheart Kate comes back in his life because she's moving back into town. Norbit still likes Kate so he thinks he's going to get back with her when she asks him to go out with her on a date.Until he finds out she has a fiance his heart gets crushed.But overall the movie Norbit is very funny there are non stop laughs out of the whole movie. I recommend all people who have a sense of humour should watch "Norbit"
