No Doubt is defiantly a live band and this is where they shine, I thoroughly enjoyed this DVD. Several songs that they performed sound much better live. Most notably "Platinum Blonde Life" and "Don't Let Me Down", these songs totally rock over the CD version. I think they should have recorded them with the same energy and faster live beat to start with. Some bands loose something when they play live, not with No Doubt!ND is not a band to stand around the stage looking like mannequins either. Gwen is constantly running from one side of the stage to the other. She can really get the fans pumped up. Tony (Bassist) even gets into the act a few times.
My only gripe with this DVD is that the 4 bonus songs seem to be recorded at a different sound level. I need to turn the volume up a good bit to get decent sound.
Overall it's a stellar performance by ND, it makes me wish I could have seen the Rock Steady tour in person. Fans of No Doubt will not be disappointed with this DVD. I know I wasn't.
