Movie Review: a heist so complicated and so cool to watch

for the thinking movie viewers. a very talented director who died too soon to be internationally recognized. what a shame. this movie should be included in your must-have, must-see lists. regretfully, i only watched in vhs long time ago. i am also very delighted that his second great film, aura, was released in dvd recently. i certainly will try to locate it, and after that, i might have to re-watch the 'nine queens' one more time.Movie Review: Just A Super, Super Film

Great fun from beginning to end. Best film about con artists since The Sting and every bit as fun. The acting, story and film work are impecable.
Two small time hustlers in Buenos Aires set out to pull off the Big Con. And unless someone's passed you a few clues beforehand, you'll never quite figure it out until the end.
Taking time out for this film is time well spent.

Esta pelicula argentina la verdad vale la pena tenerla en la videoteca personal,tiene muy buena trama y al final uno se da cuenta que todo estaba premeditado a hacerse de esa manera.La recomiendo 100% a quien le guste peliculas asi como de tramas enredadas, es clasificacion R nada mas por el vocabulario porque no hay nada de desnudez ni sexo.
La he visto como 5 veces y aun no me aburro de ella.

I admit that I'm a sucker for con movies. The idea of the clever heist intrigues me. What this film has, that many others don't, is the appropriate characterization to understand the deal in play. As it unfolds, you're exposed to so many possible angles and, more importantly, plausible angles that you can't let your guard down the entire length of the film.
