Movie Review: Rockin Opera Rat

If you enjoy any Nightwish CD's, this is a must have. The DVD and CD's of the concert are enclosed. Great sound. Good emotion in the performance. "Phantom of the Opera" and "Over The Hills and Far Away" are two of the biggest highlights but they don't even come close to the Jam "I Wish I had an Angel" as that song is a masterpiece. If you like rock and are looking for something different than the same old classics they play on the radio, then get this. Metal with a slight operatic voice twist at times which actually works perfectly. Tarja was awsome but now she's left them. It's the last time you will see Tarja Turunen with Nightwish ever again. It's a must have DVD for all Nightwish fans. Ofcourse don't expect to hear all the great songs you've grown to love, and also don't expect the quality of the songs to be like that of studio recorded albums. Just watch it for the ambience that Nightwish always brings to their concerts. Loved Stone People & Creek Mary's Blood. I know, it's true about the documentary being dull, but I kinda like it, seeing fans around the world embracing the great music of Nightwish. Get it before it's gone.Movie Review: FIN

This is it. The last Nightwish concert with Tarja. Includes 2 CDS and 1 DVD. A real deal considering the $17.99 pre-order. A steal. I guess it was going to happen sooner or later with Tarja having two careers. I don't think her career will be the same after Nightwish. She sings opera and I own a lot of it and she doesn't have the voice to be a front line opera singer. I don't think either side will be the same in this breakup. Sad to see it end this way. End of an Era I have played this DVD over and over again. When they come to the USA in my area I am there as close to the stage as possible. This is the last concert that you see Tarja before she goes solo. Once you see them in concert you will not leave disappointed. Their energy during concerts are contagious. You will end up banging your head with the best of them.Movie Review: Sad that it ended... but happy I bought it!!!!

Nightwishes End of an Era concert is fantastic! If you like heavy metal laced with operatic voices this is for you! They rock hard and they also have wonderful, beautiful, meaningful songs too. This is a full length concert on DVD that is extremely well done! The CD's that accompany the DVD's let you enjoy the entire concert right in your car! This is truly an outstanding piece of work... you won't be disappointed at all for buying... you will love it!
