Movie Review: Beautiful!
Summary: 4 Stars
I showed this moving to my middle school students and they were very captivated by the story. Although the movie doesn't exactly follow the book, it is a strong story that conveys the harsh cruelty of the slavery era without excessive violence. It is intense in parts and I recommend adult supervision and discussion.
