Movie Review: Bittersweet
Summary: 3 Stars
This is a disturbing film worth seeing. The subject of the film, Arthur "Killer" Kane, seems to be in a trance as do all the other "Mormons" in the film. Arthur is obviously a kind hearted & talented man but seems eerily empty & lost, particularly in contrast to the other gifted musicians in the film like Morissey & David Johansen. I can't shake the feeling that this was meant to be an LDS propaganda film gone terribly wrong. After wathcing this I felt like I'd just driven by a bad car crash...
