Movie Review: Outstanding Children's Film Classic. Must Own For Any True Disney Fan.
Summary: 5 Stars

This has always been one of my favorite Disney live action films. I saw it growing up and have never forgotten it.
It is a terrific mix of sentiment and excitement. The story is great and the acting by Michael Douglas, Johnny Whitaker and Jodie Foster is first rate. Michael Douglas(in one of his first film roles)does some of his own motorcycle stunts toward the end of the film in a thrilling chase scene.
Some know-it-all types have been claiming that the lion was drugged during the filming of this movie. That is not true. Major the lion was just very old. Considering that they have him chasing bears and mountain lions, he hardly seems drugged up.
Don't let anyone or anything keep you from adding one of Disney's best live-action features to your Disney collection. A definite must own.

Movie Review: A Memorable movie
Summary: 5 Stars

I first saw this animal adventure on TV, in the early 1970's. It might have been on "Walt Disney's Wonderful World if Color". It is a sensitive film and it made such an indelible impression that I have thought of it off and on for 35 years. All of the main characters are very likable, including the grandfather, the boy, played by Johnny Whitaker, the girl, played by Jodie Foster, and the young man, played by Michael Douglas. I am very much looking forward to getting it and seeing it again.

This is a good movie for everyone in the family to enjoy.I loved seeing Michael Douglas and Jodie Foster at such a young age.I think you will enjoy this if you like the older,slower Disney movies.I enjoyed it.I think the older Disney movies were the best.

Movie Review: Gift for my son and grandsons
Summary: 5 Stars

My younger son named his cat based on this movie. My older son wanted his sons to see it and I was so happy to find it for them. He and the grandsons have enjoyed the story, as well as reliving the memories of he and his brother.
