I have collected/read Nancy Drew books from the 1950's on. I expected a juvenile movie, but was pleasantly surprised that it was very much adult and true to the books-even the blue roadster. Think they did a remarkably good job bringing ND to life without all of today's problems. A wonderful, entertaining movie for senior adults too!Movie Review: Refreshing and fun to watch

I watched the DVD with my 13 year old granddaughter and we loved it. I remembered when my mom bought the first Nancy Drew books for me and my four sisters each read them in turn. I now have them and my daughter read them in her tweens. Now my granddaughter is reading them. Some things are timeless, even with today's hip kids.Movie Review: Nancy Drew

I went with a friend to watch the Nancy Drew movie when it was in theatres. If it had been in theatres longer I would gone numerous times! All of my freinds (ages 5-100) wanted to go see it, but it didn't stay in theatres long enough! Like my title says this is one of my favorite movies done by Emma Roberts. It is a cute movie where she is portraying Nancy Drew. I didn't seem any earlier Nancy Drew - it was not in my generation. At last- a teenage girl movie where the NICE girl doesn't change into a tramp to fit in! My nieces; ages 12, 13, & 14 LOVED it and I was pleasantly surprised that I liked it too. The clothes were adorable! The kid did a good job as Nancy Drew. I hope they make more movies in this series.
