Movie Review: The BEST Super Bowl EVER (one of the best GAMES, period)!
Summary: 5 Stars
Simply put, you HAVE to purchase this incredible DVD. Of the 43 Super Bowls thus completed, this was, by far, the very best: non-stop action, thrills, edge-of-your-seat excitement, twists and turns, drama, etc. I have never been so riveted for ever minute of a football game, let alone a Super Bowl, in all my many years of viewing the great game, either in person or on television (in comparison, Super Bowl XL was, for the most part, a boring affair, especially the first half [I included this so you won't just dismiss this as the glowing accolades of a biased reviewer!]). Ben Roethlisberger and Kurt Warner BOTH demonstrated why they are future Hall of Fame quarterbacks par excellance, while the vaunted Steelers number one defense shines magnificently throughout. In fact, this special Super Bowl has TWO of the greatest plays in the game's history: "The Immaculate Interception" (NFL Defensive Player of the Year James Harrison's record 100 yard interception return for a touchdown) and "The Immaculate Extension", a.k.a. "The Perfect 10" or "Ben To Ten", Super Bowl XLIII MVP Santonio Holmes' unbelievable winning touchdown catch with 35 seconds left (by the way, the throw from Roethlisberger was incredible). This was also the Super Bowl with the highest ratings to date and, for that matter, is the highest rated show EVER! In addition, most national sport writers are proclaiming this game THE classic of all time. Both teams play a classy tug of war with each other; Larry Fitzgerald, Kurt Warner, Ben Roethlisberger, James Harrison, and Santonio Holmes are the five stars of the game (but all shine, in some way or another). There's no getting around this point: if you like football and excitement, GET THIS DVD ASAP!

On February 1, 2009, the Pittsburgh Steelers became the first franchise in NFL history to win their sixth Super Bowl. The title was the Steelers second in four seasons. It was the first under second-year head coach Mike Tomlin. Led by a defense that ranked first in yards allowed per game (237.2), passing yards allowed per game (156.9), points allowed per game (13.9) and second in rushing yards allowed per game (80.3), the Steelers finished the regular season 12-4 to win the AFC North Division title.
