...they are in fine form as they go thru their hits from their three most famous CD productions and they seem as if they are having a blast doing so. At least, that's my opinion gained from those behind-the-scene shots where Joey is mugging the camera or Chris is drenching his face with bottled water. The 'popodyssey' is full of splashy, flashy productions with fire breathing and exploding backstages, airborne space cowboys, megasized water guns, fleshy, poplocking divas, funky cinema and non-stop tunes. PLUS--! These guys take short, short breaks between tunes. It is amazing.Justin does an no-holds barred vocal vamp on "Gone" where he falls down on his knees ala the lead vocalist in many of those doo-wop and sweaty 60's R and Bee groups--the audience eats it up. JC Chasez gets the crowd stirring with his solo in "This I Promise You" and his foot work in "No Strings Attached". I dig the breakdown to housestyle of "It's Gonna Be Me" and the neo-Beatlesqueness of "The Two of Us". But of course, this is an N Sync video, right? You are gonna be treated to some of the most elaborate and hippest dance steps this side of B2K. I hate to admit it, but these guys are alright. (Once agin, the Yeargster is seen eatin' crow.) You can break into a sweat watching these dudes move. And I mean that as a compliment.
Buy it, watch it, enjoy it. This is worth your $.
