Movie Review: Who Doesn't Love William Powell
Summary: 5 Stars
The Thin Man series is always enjoyable. I ordered the entire series set from Amazon sometime ago. I enjoy watching these well written films with classic dialogue. The themes are stimulating and the directorship is superb. The acting is nothing short of superior. Something much of today's movies are missing. This was a great era in movie history. Definitely worth the money. You can enjoy them at your own convenience. There's nothing on T.V. worth watching these days, and the movies are so costly. We spent $20 on tickets and $21 on individual snacks. The vendor advised us that we actually got a sale on the snacks as they were having a special. It would have been less expensive to buy the movie on Amazon, microwave popcorn, dollar store candy, and a grocery store $1 liter soda. We spent $41 on just a night at the movies for two. That was gas for the week to get to work,dinner for two for a week, or two weeks of lunch at work.
