Movie Review: This Movie Got Me Laughing

People I know warned me that "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" wasn't the best Uma Thurman or Luke Wilson ever made. Well, actually, they said that it was really bad. But, I ended up lauhing so much plot issues didn't bother me. I thought that it had some great adult humor. My brother had a night off from work, so he came over and started to watch it. The movie put him to sleep. Maybe this is because women would find the Uma-stronger-than-Luke jokes more amusing then men? 3-4 stars.Movie Review: Really funny

Now this was a really pleasant surprise. A really funny movie about aguy who dates this superhero named G Girl only to find out she is needy controlling and jealous. He then wants to go "on a break" with the expected results. It is really funny, even if it is no great work of art (even though cinema is at its highest art-form when it is entertaining). My only gripe is that it is a bit slow a the beginning. Anyway I really enjoyed it a lot.Movie Review: Better than you think

I watched this movie trying to keep an open mind. I knew it did not do well at the box office and the reviews weren't very kind, but I really enjoyed it. Not the kind of movie you should let your young children watch as it has a lot of sexual situations, but there is no nudity. Over all the movie is very clever and original. 4 stars? Yep this movie is hilariously dead on. If you have ever dated in a big city you have undoubtedly met a woman or two like G-Girl. A successful, confident, professional by day. Needy, psychotic, overly sensitive,(may be an understatement)damaged goods by night.
A great date movie that has a twist. I recommend it.
