Movie Reviews of My Dog Skip (Keepcase packaging)

Movie Review: My Dog Skip--movie
Summary: 5 Stars

My Dog Skip is a very poignant tale about the love of a dog and how it changes a boy's life. Skip seems to effect everyone in a positive way and is loved by an entire town. This movie is entertaining and enlightening at times, but is meant more for adults than children. For a period piece set in the 1940's it is very accurate. All the actors do a stellar job. My Dog Skip is one of the best films I have ever seen and I am glad I purchased it.

Movie Review: Good for the Entire Family
Summary: 5 Stars

If you were ever a little child, if you've ever loved a dog,if you've ever lived in more simple times, this movie will bring tears. Three generations in my family watched it and we all shed a tear. The range of feelings the movie elicits is broad yet honest. Disappointment, loneliness, guilt, sadness, desire for acceptance, joy, friendship, first love,fun- they are all here in this simple, believable tale of a young boy growing up.

Movie Review: Really sweet movie, heart warming.
Summary: 5 Stars

Me & my children really enjoyed this movie, it's funny, warm, sad & a really good family movie. Both my boys, are ages 9 & 10 now, but they watched it the first time when they were 5 & 6.... they cried because it really tugs at your heart. If you are a pet lover, you will really appreciate the great writers who must have had a big heart for animals & probably wrote it based on personal experiences.

Movie Review: Don't Skip Seeing MY DOG SKIP
Summary: 5 Stars

Excellent movie for dog lovers as well as those of memoirs. Frankie Munoz is young in this one but carries the whole picture except when of course the dog, Skip, is in charge which is 90% of the film. Shows growing up in a family as an only child...excellent performances by Kevin Bacon and Diane Lane, as well as Luke Wilson.

Movie Review: Gripping, tugs at the heart
Summary: 5 Stars

Only recently had a chance to watch this movie on cable. Very heartwarming and touching, and in a most believably sincere way. I think it's a movie which many of us can relate to. Frankie Muniz gave a great performance which truly tugged at the heart. Loved it!
