Movie Review: Finest Version of Wyatt
Summary: 5 Stars
I've seen 'em all, but far and away this one is Number One. Perhaps it is Fonda's acting as Wyatt, or Victor Mature's excellent roll as Doc. Better yet -- howzabout Walter Brennan's rendition as Old Man Clanton. What takes this movie to even greater heights is the outstanding photography that portrays the elements, dirt and dust, and the use of lighting. John Ford is the maestro conducting this excellent...oh so EXCELLENT...movie.Movie Review: My Darling Clementine

It is nice to think that we can go back to a place in time and walk beside heros. Perhaps the facts are not too accurate and the parts are played with hearts that are a writers creation but still it lives for a while. I like this movie very much and am always impressed with the kindness men showed women back then.

Movie Review: One of the Great Westerns

This film has it all; a story, great acting, great camera work. When I saw Henry Fonda standing at the end of "Main Street", beginning his walk to the OK Corral, the choice of camera lens used by the cinematographer beats any "special effect" that we see today. I've seen this movie in my youth and it was entertaining then and truly a western classic at it's best now. Henry Fonda and the whole cast brought their "A" game for this cinema great. I love that it is as I remembered it to be engaging. If you are into westerns then you must add this to your cinema collection.

So, I bought this movie in order to analyze it for my university Film Analysis class. I thoroughly enjoyed writing about this movie because of its immense depth and themes. It isn't the most action packed western around, but I believe it is John Ford's greatest. This is a must own for any fan of the genre.
