Movie Reviews of My Baby Can Talk - First Signs

Movie Review: great dvd
Summary: 5 Stars

I love this dvd, more importantly, my son loves this dvd. He'll watch it the entire way through and is learning signs already, he is 15 months old and I've had the video a month. Sometimes I watch it with him, other times I put it in and he becomes so engrossed in it that I can actually get a few things done! He isn't much of a tv watcher, but this dvd holds his attention from the time I push play. The dvd shows an item (cat, for instance)with a voice saying cat, shows a woman signing cat with a voice saying cat, and shows numerous toy and real cats, a baby signing cat, again shows a woman signing cat with a voice saying cat, and shows one more cat before going on to the next word. This dvd has the signs for cat, dog, more, eat, drink, milk, book, dinosaur, cow, horse, go, car, bunny, mouse, bear, and several more. I'm just writing this down from memory, so my list may not be completely accurate. I'm mostly interested in my son learning words so that I can understand when he is hungry or thirsty, and would rather be able to pick and choose the words on the dvd, but between this dvd and the "My Baby Can Talk - Sharing Signs" dvd, my son is learning most of what I consider the most useful signs. I highly recommend this dvd for those interested in teaching their baby to sign.

Movie Review: Loving the Video
Summary: 5 Stars

My 10-month-old son loves this video. I can leave him alone & do other things. With other videos & PBS shows, he loses interest and walks around. He can't sign yet, but when I sign, he laughs & laughs!

Movie Review: My Baby Can Talk - First Signs
Summary: 5 Stars

There is no comparison with this series. Our baby couldn't take her eyes off it. It combines sign language with visual pictures and movies and NEVER gets boring. Since she started watching it, her language and sign skills have boomed.

Movie Review: Education for baby and parents.
Summary: 5 Stars

This is the first DVD that caught my daughter's attention. She loves to watch it and has the sign for milk down at 10 months. I highly recommend it.

Movie Review: great DVD
Summary: 5 Stars

my 18 month old LOVES this show and will sit there in front of the TV copying every sign. some signs are not the ones I taught him, like dinosaur, but the ones shown are so easy. it just goes through each sign, one by one, with music, pics, and video for each one. shows an adult doing it and then a baby. some signs i can recall are duck, cow, bunny (not rabbit), go, eat, drink, more, horse, dinosaur, car, mouse, shoes (his favorite), book, cat, dog, fish, bear- that's all or at least most of the signs- trust me, i've seen the DVD a million times....
