Movie Review: Eternal Hope for Love
Summary: 5 Stars
When you're down and out, knowing love is only found in the imagination, this movie will give you hope. It addresses many topics of today's life: single parenting, divorce, dating again, small town gossip, starting over, and more. It is definitely a "chick flick" but men tend to enjoy it, too. Sally Fields and James Garner definitely have the chemistry on screen. This is one of my favorites.Movie Review: Murphy is a character to look up to in a great film.

James Garner as Murphy is smart, confident, capable, wise and one class act. He is truly one of the greatest characters of all-time. This film is very romantic and the ending is brilliant. I have shown it to four friends and they all fell in love with the movie. This is a subtle movie and if you like things obvious and over the top then you might miss the point of this one.

This is a great movie especially for any woman who loves horses, her kid and is moving on to a whole new age in her life. It will make you cry and laugh and know that yes we do finally grow up just men a little later down there road. Also the 2 lead actors could not have been more correctly picked. A woman goes to a new town for a change in her's and her son's life. She tries to make a go of a horse stabling business. Her husband enters the picture and wants to start fresh for their son's sake. She sticks to her guns though and the ending is perfect. This is one of my favorites! Sally Field does a great job and so does James Garner.Movie Review: Love this movie!

OK...so I've been in love with James Garner since I was five years old (Maverick days). And yes, I love older men. This movie is an absolute favorite of mine. The chemistry between James Garner and Sally Field is terrific and it winds up being an old-fashioned romance. It doesn't get any better than this.
