Movie Review: An Awesome Film!!!
Summary: 5 Stars
My dad and I watched this at 5:00 in the morning today, and I thought it was really good! It has a great storyline, great message, and great actors! On Larry Burrow's 35th birthday, he is really depressed and fired from his job because he found out that one of his co-workers will cripple the company that he works for. He goes to a bar and talks to the bartender named Mike. Larry blames all of his problems on a baseball game he lost 20 years ago. When Larry drinks a special mix of drinks, he is transferred to an alternate reality where he is rich, the boss of the company, and he has another wife. He likes it at first, but then he realizes that he wants his old life back. I highly recommend MR. DESTINY!!!Movie Review: top movie-great memory

I remember seeing this movie all those years ago, when it first came out.
We hired the video tape, I believe, from the local video shop.
Top movie-great memory.This truly is my kind of film, good humor, and I have always loved movies about time change etc.
Good cast and top storyline.
My sister watched it at my home many years ago and just recently had mentioned she had been looking for this title, but with no success.
What I did was get onto Amazon and looked it up. That worked out ok, because as it turned out, I purchased two dvd copies, one for me and to surprise my sister with a Xmas gift I know she will love.
Movie Review: A Modern Classic!!

This movie is awesome! If you have ever wondered why life is the way it is, or what if that one thing you [messed] up could have been changed, than this movie will really catch your attention. It is filled with comedy, drama, and just plain fun. The acting is superb, the characters are well thought out, and the story line is excellent. An interesting tid bit: Part of this movie was filmed at the Biltmore Mansion in Ashville, NC. This movie is absolutely one of my favorites, I will be preordering this one for sure! What fun! If you like "what-if-I'd..." movies ("Back to the Future" x3, "It's A Wonderful Life," "Frequency," etc.), you'll enjoy this light-hearted romp into Everyman's life. If you could change one thing in your past, would you?
Maybe I enjoyed it more by being a native of Winston-Salem, NC, where most of it was shot ("I know that street!"), but it's a fun run anyway. Glad it's finally out on DVD, as my VHS tape is showing a bit of wear.

With so many studios using the word "classic" quite liberally nowadays, it's hard to really know anymore. This movie really passes the test. It stars Michael Caine as Mr. Destiny, and Jim Belushi as Larry Burrows, who gets to experience what life could have been. He gets everything he dreamed of, but soon finds out it's not all it's cracked up to be. Linda Hamilton and Jon Lovitz give great supporting performances, this is movie is a gem!
