Movie Reviews of Moving ViolationsMovie Review: "Are you going to be a good boy? Yes mommy, yes!" Summary: 5 Stars
I have been waiting years for this movie to come out on DVD and it is finally here! This movie may not be as well known as "Fast Times At Ridgemont High" or "Better Off Dead", but don't let that stop you from buying it - this movie is a freakin' RIOT! 'Moving Violations' is by far one of the best movies of the 80s, 90s, or any period for that matter. The cast is perfect and captures the great witty but goofy comedy we all love. Fred Willard is as funny as ever in this film - a must see! Buy it now before I have the judge spank you! :)
Movie Review: Deserves 20 stars!!! Summary: 5 Stars
This film is the ULTIMATE 80's comedy classic!
20 years later and it is still funny! Nedra Volz definitely steals the show here...from driving on the airport runway, to sitting on a urinal (why is my back all wet?) to getting involved in an unplanned menage a trois, you have to love it! Other stand outs include the big chase scene involving the parade float and animals! Especially when the duck goes flying and in a fantastic Donald Duck voice goes "Oh s...!" And who can forget The Blood Drips Red On The Highway!
Movie Review: "Why is my back all wet?" Summary: 5 Stars
This movie is worth the money just for the scene with the line above alone. I hadn't seen this movie in years and I could not believe how well it has held up over time. I think I laughed almost as hard as the first time around (1985) when I saw this film. My mother thinks they should remake it into a modern day version. She found it hilarious but a little dated. But some of the 80's stuff is what makes the film so funny. There is one line regarding Michael Jackson and the Victory tour that is absolutely priceless.
Movie Review: An underappreciated gem. Summary: 5 Stars
This classic puts the new "Dukes of Hazzard" movie to shame, and is on a par with the Marx Brothers, and other comedy greats. Its too bad that this movie isn't very well known, but finally gets the DVD treatment. The wit, the slapstick, the humor all flows naturally. John Murray is so amazing that you don't care that he's in his brother's shadow (although he would have been great if he could have been Steve Zissou's brother) yes, this one is much more worthy of my elite radar.
Movie Review: Moves Me! Summary: 5 Stars
This is an awesome movie from the 80s. It is just pure humor and fun. If you missed it in the 80s, or know someone who missed it, you really have to get them to watch this. I still laugh crazily with the "clinic" scenes and so many other parts. And the cast really plays it straight, which makes the comedy more biting. It is so cheap to buy on Amazon, so just add it to another order and get your free shipping!
