Movie Review: Godzilla's Finest Hour

At long last American fans of Godzilla can affordably enjoy what many rate as their favorite Godzilla feature. This Sony/Toho Master Series release brings us both the classic AIP dubbed American release print titled Godzilla VS The Thing, and the original Japanese version Mosura Tai Gojira with english subtitles, for those who prefer authenticity. There are great extras including interviews and audio commentary by American Godzilla experts. It's priced irresistably at less than $20! I didn't wait on this one, and will always cherish it.Movie Review: Second Best Showa Film!!

My second Classic Media DVD and one of marvelous quality. As with all of this collection's DVDs, the menu is exciting with music from the title theme and of course some nice special features Steve Ryfle and Ed Godziszewski provide the commentary. I always enjoy thier commentaries because they are so into it: a G-fan's dream come true!! This DVD is great but I wish Classic Media would release other less fortunate G-films, like "King Kong vs. Godzilla" and "Destroy All Monsters", both having thier Japanese versions completely unavailableMovie Review: Best Sequel

Having what was considered the best Godzilla suit of the Showa series, it also had one of the best stories and monster battles done in the 60's. Here was the first real time Godzilla was hinted at as being an unstopable force of nature that man just was not destined to stop, let alone kill. This film also is the lead-up to the next movie of the series - Gehdorah. Get both as they are both a great buy as well a great films. This Release is Exactly how I remember it as a Kid in the Early 70's!! The Voices, the Bad Lip Synch, EVEN THE TITLE: Godzilla vs the Thing!! I used to rush home from school to watch Godzilla Monster Week on the 4:30 Movie and this dual version lets me enjoy my Silly Beloved U.S. Version, or the More Serious Japanese Version with English Subtitles!! Thank You Toho!! WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG???!!! Please do this with ALL Toho Dakaiju Movies!!! VIVA GODZILLA!!!!Movie Review: A must have

This is a DVD that all collectors must have. there are two version of the film the original Japanese version in 2;35;1 and the US version as it was when it was first release as Godzilla vs the thing in 1;85;1. that is the way the US version should be shown. with its original US title intact.
