This DVD is an accomplishment. The production values are amazing, right down to the cool scenery that precedes the show. There are interviews with fans, a couple of which are quite touching (look for the guy in the very opening scene of the DVD, and a rough-looking guy with Morrissey tattoos at the end!). Now to the important part: Morrissey and his music. Every song is an amazing version and Moz's voice is extra-wonderful here. His band, especially Boz and Alain, are amazing and the band as a whole is extremely tight. He has the crowd in the palm of his hand and is very gracious in trying to reach out to them, despite the burly security guards. Of course, in true Moz fashion, he taunts them a little ("You'll never make it onto the stage--NEVER!). I'd say the highlights for me were "The Headmaster Ritual," "Hairdresser on Fire," "How Can Anybody Possibly Know How I Feel," and "I Know it's Gonna Happen Someday." It's a tough choice. There are 6 Smiths songs, which was a pleasant surprise. Now I would like to address a comment made by a previous poster, who claimed that Morrissey's gut was spilling all over the place when he took his shirt off to throw to the crowd. I'm sorry, but are you especially nearsighted? He may not be in the same shape he was on the cover of Your Arsenal, but he looks pretty damn good for a 45-year old man, better than most for sure. He does not even have a "gut." I guess that vegetarian diet has been good to him. I don't know what motivated the poster to say this, but it is just not true. Very strange. Buy this DVD.
