i've been following hillary burnett's advanced DVD for years and i love it. i bought this one to learn some new poses. completely disappointed. waste of money and time

Advanced Pilates devotees will love this workout. It's hard to find a home DVD that can truely challenge you. More than Mat Pilates takes exercises normally reserved for the equipment and modifies them for the mat - no equipment necessary! If you are a strong Pilates practioner but have never had a workout on the Pilates equipment, this gives you a chance to benefit from the full-bodied workout that the equipment exercises give you. If you already practice the reformer, Cadillac or Wunda Chair, this series gives you the opportunity to practice your workout at home or on the go.This DVD is a tremendous value with 3 workouts in 1.. The is a review on the Pilates Principles to help you do the exercises properly, a warmup and then an easy to follow workout. Every exercise includes modifications to help ensure you are doing it in a way that works best for you. Once you have mastered the program, try the bonus ""Cardio Flow"" section which speeds up the workout and takes out all the pauses so you flow from 1 exercise into the next - just as Joseph Pilates intended.
